An EVENING to remember

I was all alone in the house.Thought of doing something unusual.Multiple thoughts came into my mind that day,like turning on the music system and dancing on the beats of it,having a nap,connecting to friends on FB,seeing some idiot daily soaps or
movies on "IDIOT-BOX",calling friends home and having a blast,calling g.f and gossiping for hours,etc,etc..But one thought that deeply penetrated my mind,was to go out,and try to connect with the external world..Without spending a tittle of time,I got up from my bed,turned off the light and fan,locked the door and headed off to my destination(Destination which for me was to connect to stranger's soul).Took the lift and as soon as i reached out of my building,had already got connected with my watchman's kids..He had two kids,a boy named Sharukh and a girl named Sania..Their name truely justified their dreams.Sharukh wished a cool funky,fashionable pair of glasses as that of KING KHAN,while Sania wished of having a nice strong Tennis Racket..But the poor condition of watchman had forced their kids to find happiness with toys,and cycling around..A PITY scenario..Is'nt it?But still i learnt something..May be we all are too greddy creatures who keep on demanding materialistic things from GOD..I have seen many of my colleagues who keep on changing their mobile phones in a period of six months,changing their bikes yearly.I think that day is not far away when you will be seeing people changing their g.f's/b.f's every quater(Lol)..

Then i moved ahead.Came out from our society and nearby there was a jhopda..It was 7 pm.Saw an old lady, making chapatis for her husband who was to return home after his long day's labour work..No electricity at her house but still that willingness of
her to feed her tireful husband said it all..Such dedication to HOUSEHOLD DUTY and FAMILY gets rarely be seen..This was what i told to myself..May be,i learnt a lesson there by itself..A lesson which we all must learn..A lesson of doing things with complete dedication..While we start putting things in their place,we should bring together the energies of three main entities : Heart , Mind , Soul..
Thats when the work gets done at its best..From then on i walked miles with my face lit up with smiles..

On my way back,saw that same old lady with her family,sleeping under the shade of a Tree..Wish we all had such sound sleep as that of that family..
Wish we all had the heart like that of Watchman's kids who know how to enjoy themselves to the maximum,with the minimum things in hand..

I returned home around 9 pm bringing with me such lovely memories that i will cherish throughout my life..Went to bed and in no time was fast asleep..Morning when i woke up,I told to myself "I also enjoyed the same Sound Sleep as that of an OLD LADY"..I then thanked myself for choosing this out of the blue idea i.e "Connecting to external world's soul"..
